How does it work?

The Open Young App is integrated with the Open Young Prepaid Mastercard, which can be requested at openbank.es or through the Openbank App. It is designed for a practical and engaging learning experience, helping children understand financial management and familiarize themselves with concepts such as saving.

Additionally, children can also make payments using their mobile devices by linking their Open Young Card to Apple Pay.

If you are an Openbank customer:

• Request the Open Young Prepaid Card for your child without any fees via the Openbank App or openbank.es.
• Once your child receives the card, install the Open Young App on their mobile device or tablet.
• Log in using your Openbank client access credentials in your child's Open Young App to register them as a user; this step is only necessary during the initial setup.

With that, you can start enjoying the features of Open Young!

What can be done with Open Young?

From the Open Young App, children can:

• Request a reload of their Open Young Prepaid Card.
• Complete tasks assigned by parents and receive allowances as rewards.
• Check their available balance, review transactions, and filter expenses by category and date.
• Create monthly budgets by category to learn expense control, such as setting a €50 budget for dining out to monitor spending.
• Customize their profile picture.
• Request to block the card if lost, providing an added layer of security.

As a parent using the Openbank App, you can:

• Review your child's spending and transaction history related to the Open Young Card.
• Approve requests from your child and reload the Open Young Prepaid Card.
• Assign tasks and reward your child upon completion.
• Monitor the budgets set by your child.
• Temporarily disable or block the Open Young Prepaid Card as needed.
